Domain of Energy and Resources

The Department of Energy and Chemical Engineering is developed on the basis of the disciplines of Chemical Engineering and Technology (first-level discipline, national key discipline) and Chemistry (key discipline of Liaoning Province). There are two pivotal majors in this department: Energy & Chemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering & Industrial Bioengineering.

The Department of Ocean Technology relies on multiple first-level disciplines such as Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, and Automation at Dalian University of Technology, as well as the State Key Laboratory of Structural Analysis, Optimization and CAE Software for Industrial Equipment. It focuses on "Ocean Equipment Technology" as the main thread for talent cultivation, and primarily conducts learning and research around marine resource development technology and marine observation technology.

The Department of Environment and Food relies on multiple disciplines at Dalian University of Technology for talent cultivation and scientific research, including Environmental Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Technology, and Biochemical Engineering.

The Department of Life and Pharmaceutical Sciences mainly expands the teaching and scientific research in Biology, Pharmaceutical science, and Clinical Medicine by relying on the doctoral programs of Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering, as well as the master programs of Biology and Pharmaceutical Engineering.
