The Branch Laboratory of the National Key Laboratory of Structural Analysis of Industrial Equipment was established relying on the discipline of computational mechanics of DUT. It is the second batch of national key laboratories constructed under the Key Discipline Development Project with loans from the World Bank. The feasibility demonstration started in 1988, and it was confirmed by the former State Planning Commission in 1989.
