    I. Introduction

    Dalian University of Technology (DUT) is the first new regular university founded by the Communist Party of China on the eve of the founding of the People's Republic of China, aimed at fostering the construction of New China's industrial system. It is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education, a key construction university of both the "211 Project" and the "985 Project", and a Category A university in the national "Double First-Class" initiative.

    The Panjin Campus of Dalian University of Technology is an integral part of the university's "One University, Two Locations (Dalian City and Panjin City), Three Campuses (Main Linghai Campus in Dalian, Development Zone Campus, and Panjin Campus)" operational framework. The campus is positioned to develop into a campus distinguished by internationalized education, serving as a vital support for the university's "Double First-Class" construction, a key fulcrum for serving national strategies and assisting in the revitalization of Liaoning and Northeast China, and an important base in Panjin for talent cultivation, technological innovation, and achievement transformation. The Panjin Campus covers a constructed area of 563,000 square meters with a floor area of 383,000 square meters. It currently has 335 staff members of various types, including 176 full-time teaching and research faculty. Among the faculty are 5 recipients of national-level talent titles, 32 with senior professional titles (professorial rank), and 104 with associate senior professional titles. The current student enrollment is 6,179 , including 5,591 full-time undergraduate students and 588 postgraduate students. The campus has graduated ten cohorts of postgraduate students and nine cohorts of undergraduate students.

    A.Professor

    Job Requirements

    (1) DUT invites outstanding applicants from academia with recognized achievements, international academic vision, capabilities for innovation and high potential to become principal investigators in the field. The age limit is generally 42 years old.

    (2) The appointee shall set clear goals for the performance appraisal during the term of the contract (Please contact the department contact persons for more detailed evaluation standards).

    Salary and Start-up package

    (1) Competitive salary, settling-in fee and research start-up funds, and full guarantee for settling-in research needs.

    (2) Provision of laboratory and office space, with specific arrangements open to discussion.

    (3) Opportunity to be selected for talent funds such as the Xiaomi Young Scholar Program, which offers substantial stipends.

    (4) Guarantee of 2 postdoctoral recruitment slots annually for the first 3 years.

    (5) Guaranteed PhD student recruitment quota upon passing the doctoral supervisor qualification review (the first year will be a special quota).

    B.Associate Professor

    Job requirements

    (1) The successful candidate will be expected to have influential research achievements in relevant fields, great potential for scientific innovation and breakthrough. The age limit is generally 37 years old.

    (2) The appointee shall set clear goals for the performance appraisal during the term of the contract (Please contact the department contact persons for more detailed evaluation standards).

    C.Assistant Professor

    Job requirements

    (1) The successful candidate will be expected to have a relevant PhD degree; influential research achievements and a clear plan for future research. The age limit is generally 34 years old.

    (2) The appointee shall set clear goals for the performance appraisal during the 6-year contract (Please contact the department contact persons for more detailed evaluation standards).

    Job requirements

    (1) The successful candidate will be expected to have a relevant PhD degree (received within 3 years); a solid research foundation and strong research capability; academic prudence and team spirit.

    (2) The appointee shall set clear goals for the performance appraisal during the 2-3-year contract (Please contact the department contact persons for more detailed evaluation standards at the end of the webpage).

    Remunerations and Benefits

    (1) Postdoctoral remuneration is based on an annual salary system.

    (2) If selected for national and school level talent programs, additional funding will be provided on top of the school's benefits.
