主题演讲:老鼠行为认识(Mouse Behaviour Analysis)

这是一个有关对动物老鼠进行监测的饶为有趣的项目。

We intend to develop a software tool, based on a camera system, that allows us to monitor mice in a home cage. To develop such a tool, we acquire images of mice, and then apply machine learning and computer vision technologies to analyse the collected images and interpret animal behaviours such as rest, groom and walk. This talk perfectly falls in the scope of computer science and should be interesting enough for STEM students.

Huiyu Zhou博士

Huiyu Zhou博士拥有华中科技大学无线电技术的工程学本科学位，此后先后获得英国邓迪大学生物医药工程学硕士学位、英国赫瑞·瓦特大学计算机视觉博士学位。

Huiyu Zhou博士在相关领域发表了超过130篇经过同行审核的论文，在Google Scholar上被引用超过2700多次。他目前担任《电气电子工程最新发展》学术期刊的主编、《IEEE人机系统交换》的副编辑，并参与多个其它学术期刊编审委员会的工作。他还是《模式识别》、《计算机视觉》、《信号处理》、《信号》、《图像与视频处理》、《科学世界期刊》以及《电气与计算机工程期刊》的客座联合编辑，担任“International Workshop on Sparse Representation for Event Detection in Multimedia”的联席主席。他受邀在多个国际会议、行业和大学进行主题演讲，并担任了逾30个国际会议与工作坊的主持。他是"Information Assurance & Intelligent Multimedia-Mobile Communications in IEEE SMC Society"、以及IEEE计算机智能学会下智能系统应用技术委员会中"Biometrics Task Force"和"Robotics Task Force"应用技术委员会成员之一。
