Introduction of the Lecturer:
Prof. He is presently working as the Vice-Director of Panjin Campus, also the Dean of School of Petroleum and Chemical Engineering, Full Professor and Doctoral Supervisor. Prof. He gained two Bachelor Degrees in 1988 and 1993 respectively, and her Doctoral Degree from Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, The Academy of Sciences of China. Prof. He is awarded as“Changjiang Scholar”by Minister of Education and winner of the National Outstanding Young Science Fund. Prof. He also enjoys her special allowance of the State Council. She is theDirector of Research and Development Center of Membrane Science of Dalian University of Technology, also a member of National Chemical Catalytic Hydrogenation Technology Steering Committee.
Prof. He has been engaged in the field of chemical engineering, membrane separation, energy saving and the exploration of new energy for many years. She has been the essential part of many National Natural Science Funds, National 863 project, Horizontal Project with China Sinopec and China National Petroleum Corporation. The design of energy-saving renovation project has been applied more than 20 industrial projects domestically and its annual economic efficiency exceeds 300 million RMB. The high performance membrane has been applied in more than 10 industrial projects. In 2010,“The Research and Industrial Application of Separation of Hydrocarbon-containing Cascade Membrane”won the Second Prize of National Science and technology progress.
Prof. He will give an general introduction to the research field of Chemical Engineering and relevant courses, history of its development and the its implication to the modern society. The original intention is to let the students have an initial understanding of their own major, also to help students to arrange their study plan and career development.
